How to Send Profile Pics in Facebook Chat

Facebook is rolling out new features continuously. Recently they overhauled the complete profile view by enablingTimeline. Now they also enabled images in facebook chat. These images mean you can send  profile pic of a facebookuser in chat. The user may or may not be in your friend list. You need to have the User Id or Username of the user.

• Login to your Facebook Account
• Visit the profile of the user or group whose image you want to send.
• Copy the Username or User ID from address bar.

• Now in chatbox type he username or user id in following format:

 [[Username]] or [[User ID]]

For Sharing the picture of Mark Zukerberg or Coca cola type [[zuck]] and[[cocacola]]  respectively.

This can result in disappearnce of defualt simleys used in facebook as you will get better visual images to express your emotions.

If you are the active user on facebook then you can select this option. Now you will get the most recent updates i.e. status, photos, likes, comments etc of your friends. This is same with the old news feed.

This Talking About This feature gives you an insight about the activities including liking of posts, commenting, sharing posts on your wall/page, mentioning page in their posts, liking or sharing Check-In deal, photo tagging your page and responding to the questions you asked etc which are performed by Fans on weekly basis. The variation in numbers depends on the fans activities on your Fanpage. A facebook spoke person explains this as:

“This metric refreshes daily but goes back a week. So it’s the current barometer of how much conversation is being generated by someone’s Page on Facebook. It’s a good gauge of the content Pages are putting up and how to generate more conversations around a Page.”

If you page has only few people Talking about this then it doen’t mean that it is unpopular.Its just an insight about activity level of your page..
