How to find out the ID of a user on Facebook. 5 Ways.

facebook-id

Several times we have written about user ID, a number that identifies a unique profile on Facebook, a number needed to do various tricks, applications, or jokes that we have presented on this blog .
After the introduction of Facebook ‘ username , which is the function that allows everyone to have a user name on Facebook and a unique URL, now finding the user ID is not immediate.
For profiles that have not yet chosen a nickname finding the ID is a breeze, you can just look up the URL in the address bar of your browser when you visit their profile. Example:
http://facebook.com/profile.php? = 73322363
In this case the number at the end, 73322363 is the ID that identifies that user. But if the user has chosen a username, example:
http://facebook.com/pinco.pallino
To find the user ID you can not look at the profile URL.
Now to illustrate and explain some ways to find the user ID. The examples are based on the user we all know know on Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, whose ID is the No. 4.
Method No. 1 – from photos
tab-foto-mark-ID
Visit the Photo tab of the user, and clicking on one of his albums (such as the profile picture) you will notice that the URL at the top will look like this:
http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.529237716211.2047231. 4
The first two numbers identify the link at the end of the album, the last (after the point) identifies the user!
The user ID is 4, that of Mark.
Method No. 2 – by info
tab-info-mark-ID
Visiting the information tab of your profile, if you notice a link "More" – hover the mouse over it and copy the URL. Here it is for our example:
http://www.facebook.com/ajax/profile/show_more.php?section_id=1003&profile_id = 4 & offset = 5
As you notice the ID is clearly visible.
Method # 3 – from updates
aggiornamenti-mark-ID
If the person has activated receive updates on the right side column you will see which friends receive updates. Rolling the mouse over it again will show the URL that contains the user ID:
http://www.facebook.com/browse/friended_followers_of/?profile_id = 4
Method # 4 – via the "Message"
messaggio-mark-ID
If you receive messages, try to send a message. the URL looks like this:
http://www.facebook.com/messages/ 4
Method # 5 – report link / block
segnala-blocca-mark-ID
Similar to the previous method, the link that points to block is like this:
http://www.facebook.com/ajax/report/social.php?content_type=0&cid=4&rid = 4 & h = AfgHV0rX …
Where you can see the id = 4.
These are just some of the methods to find the ID of a user. Almost certain, using one of the methods outlined here will be able to find it without problems.

You have 2 minutes to remove the Facebook applications you do not use?

Remove Unused Apps

On this blog we are the first to report several applications to add items to your Facebook profile, some of these are become your favorite applications and other pass into oblivion.
In fact some of the services offered by thousands of applications on Facebook can be of interest to you, many other apps are often tried once or twice and then forgotten… and the same happens with games.
The problem is that every time you authorize an application, we give the permission to access our personal information, often photos and videos, the possibility of publishing the timeline, see our list of friends, etc.. Our Italian Blogger is a true advocate of privacy and he already informed us all over 2 years ago on his blog. But here today, He and I (American author) renew our invitation to you to remove unused applications.
Follow this link to Facebook to remove them: http://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=applications
I also want to refer you a site that collects links to the pages of the most popular social network applications and services on the web: http://mypermissions.org/
By visiting it you will have the ability to remove unused applications related to your account on Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, LinkedIn, Dropbox, Instagram and Flickr.
As the slogan of MyPermissions states: “Start 2012 by Taking 2 Minutes to Clean Your Apps Permissions.”
